Currently I am looking into the physical nature of the human body and looking at how much the body can take. I also continue to research how the human presence effects performance. This is all being layered on top of my existing practice into the battle of Man vs Woman.
I have also ran workshops that show the basics of group work and the basic 70’s principles of performance and am currently working on a new workshop that shows basic survival instincts.
Along with working as a solo artists I am also the co-director of a performance art initiative called Home for Waifs and Strays (hfwas). Our aim is to make performance art more accessible to everyone and to keep adding to the already rich arts community in Birmingham.
My next performance is for the Fierce event ‘SLIP’ at Moseley Swimming Baths on the 11th and 12th of September.
